The Requirement
Stroud District Council sought to attract inward investment by highlighting what makes the district an ideal place for business. They wanted to showcase the district's unique qualities—its people, its environment, and its businesses—while creating a strong brand identity that would resonate with potential investors and local communities alike.
The Solution
Stroud District Council sought to attract inward investment by highlighting what makes the district an ideal place for business. They wanted to showcase the district's unique qualities—its people, its environment, and its businesses—while creating a strong brand identity that would resonate with potential investors and local communities alike.
We developed a flexible, modern brand identity that captured the essence of Stroud’s unique blend of rural and urban qualities. A distinctive locator pin symbol was integrated into the design, representing Stroud as a hub of opportunity and connection. The colour palette was inspired by the natural landscape, evoking the region’s greenery, vibrancy, and commitment to sustainability.
In addition to the visual identity, a comprehensive set of graphic assets was created, along with a detailed brand guidelines document to ensure the identity could be consistently applied across all platforms.
To complement the visual identity, we worked with One Voice Media to develop an engaging online prospectus. This digital asset highlighted Stroud’s key selling points in an easily digestible format. We used a series of infographics to make the information more accessible and visually appealing, ensuring potential investors could quickly understand the value Stroud offers.

The new brand identity was rolled out across a variety of printed and digital materials, ensuring a cohesive presence both online and offline:
